Laudato Si – Pope Francis reminded us in Laudato Si that the earth is our sister and mother, the sun is our brother, the rivers, seas, and lakes are our sisters, the air and wind are our brothers, and the moon is our sister. Biblical text tells us to “till and keep the garden of the world. “If plant life stops, all life stops. Surely, caring for our sister Mother Earth is the mother of all pro-life issues.

The annual Mass in commemoration of those whose funerals were held at Holy Family Parish Church during the past year (from mid-October 2025 – 8 October 2026) will be at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday, 8 November, at Holy Family Church. Families & friends of the deceased are especially welcome. Refreshments after Mass.
Altar List of the Dead (2026) lists & envelopes are available on the tables near the church doors. Please enter the names of your relatives & friends, etc., and return the envelope to the church safe/sacristy/office. Mass for those on the Altar list is offered at 10.00 a.m. on the First Friday of each month, circumstances permitting.
