Readers Ministers of the Word
The readers proclaim the word of God in the readings of the Mass on Sundays, holy days of obligation and weekdays. They also read the intercessory prayers and prayer of the prayers of the faithful.
Readers must be trained and undergo the Gard vetting process through the diocese.
