SUMMER DUES
Envelopes are now available on the tables at the back of the church. Please take one on your way out.
POPE LEO XIV has published the first encyclical letter
(major teaching letter) of his Papacy (25 May 2026).
Archbishop Dermot Farrell has issued a statement welcoming Pope Leo’s letter Magnifica Humanitas/
The Grandeur of Humanity.
“The letter is aimed at safeguarding humanity at a time of artificial intelligence. At its heart is an appeal to all people of goodwill to work together to ensure that AI will be developed and used in ways that promote ‘human flourishing’ and help us to build a better and more just world. (from Archbishop Farrell’s statement)
Magnifica Humanitas can be read in full on the website of the Holy See.
The Archbishop’s statement welcoming the encyclical can be read in full on the Dublin diocesan website.
Parish Donations
The following are the only funds that stay in the parish to cover day-to-day expenses (lighting, heating, insurance, staff salaries, liturgical supplies, parish office, security, professional services, IT, general maintenance and repairs, etc.
How can you financially support the Parish and its activities?
Voluntary Family Offerings.
VFO envelopes are available in the church pews for donations, which can then be deposited in the blue boxes near to the church exits, or the safe situated on the west side of the church (Bakers Pub).
No amount is too small; every contribution helps enormously towards meeting the ever-increasing financial challenges facing the parish.
Standing Orders
The most efficient way of financially supporting the parish is by way of a standing order. This reduces administrative costs, providing a guaranteed income weekly, monthly, or biannually to meet current and future expenses. Click here to obtain a standing order form, which can also be collected in the parish office
Online Donation
To facilitate online donations through the Parish Website, a “Parish Fund” donation button has now been added.
Online donations can also be made through the white “Tap & Go” machine situated on the west side of the church (Bakers Pub).
Blue Box.
There are 3 “blue boxes” near the church exits to facilitate cash donations and the depositing of Family Offering envelopes.
