Novena to The Holy Spirit 12 -20 May

You are warmly invited to join with every parish in the diocese in a Novena to the Holy Spirit –from 12th – 20th May beginning on the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, through Pentecost and continuing to the Feast of Mary, Mother of the Church

Building Hope Novena Prayer Cards will be also be available.

 In conjunction with the Novena, on Monday, 13th May at 8pm all are invited to join the Sisters at the Monastery of St Alphonsus in Dublin 9, or via their webcam on www.rednuns.com, as they lead us in prayerful reflections drawn from the Novena Prayer Booklet and including music from the Dublin Diocesan Music Group.

 Let us join together across the Archdiocese, in praying and planning with Archbishop Farrell during this dedicated period 12th – 20th May. We prepare also for the ordination of Bishop Donal Roche and the arrival of Bishop Paul Dempsey, Be blessed and build hope for a new future in partnership and a new way of being Church.

Pope Francis has appointed Bishop Paul Dempsey

 (Bishop of Achonry since 2020) to be an auxiliary bishop in Dublin Diocese. Please pray for the auxiliary Bishops’ and their ministry.

The April collection for the Society of St Vincent de Paul raised €1764 last weekend.
