“ Once the human being declares independence from reality and behaves with absolute dominion, the very foundations of our life begin to crumble, for ‘ instead of carrying out his role as a co-operator with God in the work of creation, man sets himself up in place of God and thus ends up provoking a rebellion on the part of nature’.” ( Laudato Si, 160 )
The April collection for the Society of St Vincent de Paul will take place after all Masses next weekend 20/21 APRIL. Please give generously.
Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock led by Archbishop Farell takes place on Saturday 27 April .
The pilgrimage has grown in numbers each year since it was re-launched in 2018 and there is strong interest from across the Archdiocese. Last year, we had a great attendance but are aware that there are parishes or partnerships that have not participated in recent years. In 2024, we are celebrating 145 years since the apparitions in 1879 and this presents an ideal opportunity to invite parishioners to go.
