Mass times 30 September/01 October

Saturday : 5.00 p.m. Vigil

Sunday : 9.00 a.m. & 11.00 a.m. Jubilee Mass ( Cel. Archbishop Farrell )

 

Golden Jubilee of the Holy Family Parish Church 1973 – 2023 - Holy Family Church was dedicated by Archbishop Ryan 50 years ago this year. Archbishop Farrell will  celebrate Mass in thanksgiving   on Sunday next at 11.00 a.m. 1st October. Mass will be at 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. only on 1st October. Refreshments will be available to all after the 11.00 a.m. Mass. All are welcome.

The Archbishop will also present Bene Merenti awards to two parishioners, Margaret Campbell and Elizabeth Gregan for their longstanding and dedicated service to Holy Family Parish.  

The Archbishop is our Father in God as a successor of the apostles and is the chief Pastor of the faithful in the diocese of Dublin.

Please celebrate the Jubilee of our Parish Church with him.

Donations towards church upkeep are critically needed. Kindly put them in the blue box on the tables near the exits

This weekend- September church door collection for the St. Vincent de Paul funds takes place. Thank you. 

 

Cross Care collection raised €1,283        last weekend . Thank you.

Family Mass 12 Noon -Sundays. Children are encouraged to take an active part in this Mass through reading, singing, and drama. Children preparing for First Holy Communion and Confirmation are encouraged to take part. Practice for this family Mass takes place at 11.15 a.m. each Sunday prior to the Mass. Thank you.

 The Season of Creation begins on September 1st and runs until October 4th the feast of St Francis of Assisi. This year's theme is "Justice and Peace to Flow".  The parish Environmental Group will lead a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament at 7pm on each of the Friday nights in September in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Following the hottest summer on record the world is experiencing the effects of our damaged environment and the need to pray for climate justice has never been more urgent. Please come and join us.
