Altar Servers - We are pleased to welcome boys and girls who have made their First Holy Communion who would like to be Altar Servers here in Holy Family Parish. Golden Jubilee of the Holy Family Parish Church 1973 – 2023 - Holy Family Church was dedicated by Archbishop Ryan 50 years ago this year. Archbishop Farrell has accepted to celebrate Mass in thanksgiving   on Sunday at 11.00 a.m. 1st October. Mass will be at 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. only on 1st October. Refreshments will be available to all after the 11.00 a.m. Mass. All are welcome. This is a celebration for the entire parish

The Archbishop is our Father in God as a successor of the apostles and is the chief Pastor of the faithful in the diocese of Dublin. Please come to celebrate the Jubilee in our Parish Church

Small donations for fresh flowers are welcome.

 

Painting of the outside of the Church & Presbytery will cost above € 4,500. Contributions are welcome.  Thank you.

Family Mass 12 Noon -Sundays. Children are encouraged to take an active part in this Mass through reading, singing, and drama. Children preparing for First Holy Communion and Confirmation are encouraged to take part. Practice for this family Mass takes place at 11.15 a.m. each Sunday prior to the Mass. Thank you.

 The Season of Creation begins on September 1st and runs until October 4th the feast of St Francis of Assisi. This year's theme is "Justice and Peace to Flow".  The parish Environmental Group will lead a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament at 7pm on each of the Friday nights in September in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Following the hottest summer on record the world is experiencing the effects of our damaged environment and the need to pray for climate justice has never been more urgent. Please come and join us.

Celebrate Creation with Colour- The Environmental Group would welcome the gift of some colourful indoor plants for the Autumn & Jubilee celebrations. Plants may be left at the Laudato Si area in the church. Thank you.

PC Training on Voluntary Ministries Training on the Voluntary Ministry Matters resource takes place on 12th AND 19th September 2023 via Zoom.  This is 2-part training course exploring the new guidebook for all members of PPCs in the Archdiocese. Please note: This is a REPEAT of the training given on 1st and 8th June 2023.If you would like to register for this Zoom training, please complete the online form on the Adult Faith section of www.missionministry.ie.

The Annual Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes began September 7. On Friday, September 8, Archbishop Farrell celebrated Mass at the Grotto, followed by events over five days. Please remember the pilgrims in prayer in your parish over the coming days. Fr Martin Noone, Pilgrimage Director, thanked parishes that have sent in Associated Membership this year.
