Mission Statement - Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, and building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

Your prayers are requested for the soul of Aideen McKeever and Dominic Kelly recently deceased, and for James Mulcahy, John Sherwood, Joe Armstrong, Aidan Lyons, Eileen & James Fitzgerald whose anniversaries occur around this time.

MAY THE SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD REST IN PEACE. AMEN.

PPC - Meeting of the Holy Family Parish Pastoral Council 4.00 p.m. Tuesday 31st January 2023 in the Resource Centre.

Building Hope Established by Archbishop Farrell this involves groups of nearby parishes in the Dublin Diocese working in partnership e.g., Mass times & sharing of activities. It will begin with an assessment of the needs of the people of the Archdiocese, to support parish communities to undertake a radical renewal, looking to the future. Our Parish is now in the Donnybrook Deanery and is included in the Partnership of parishes: - Foxrock, Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Monkstown, Kill O’ the Grange. PPC & Pastoral teams’ representatives from these 5 parishes met on Tuesday night, 17 January in the Holy Family Parish Hall. As a follow-up, the PPC will meet on 31 January. You will be kept updated on developments affecting the parish going forward.

Church Heating Costs

10 a.m. Mass from Monday to Saturday inclusive is in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in order to reduce church heating costs (gas). You may be already aware of the high cost of this heating due to the huge increase in gas costs (Average cost monthly €4,500).

Electric Thermal Radiators have been installed in the Blessed Sacrament chapel for your comfort during 10.00 a.m. weekday morning Mass (cost € 2,500 approx.). Donations to help to defray costs are invited. Outside of weekday morning Masses, the other Masses will be in the Main Church which will be heated. Thank you for your patience.

A generous donor has enabled the extension of the webcam to the Blessed Sacrament Chapel for weekday Mass at 10.00 a.m.

Church upkeep, including the heating costs, is solely funded from the voluntary family offerings – the standing orders & donations put into the blue box. Thank you for your generosity.

Saturday 11 February -Our Lady of Lourdes- World Day of the Sick. 5.30 p.m. a bus will leave from outside Holy Family Church for Mass & torchlight procession at Mary Immaculate Church, Inchicore. Contact Maria Monaghan at 0863576374 for details.
