Mission Statement - Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, and building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

A very happy and healthy & blessed New Year to all!

Your prayers are requested for the soul of Philomena Murphy, Raymond Owens and Pope Emeritus Benedict xvi recently deceased, and for Michael Byrne whose anniversary occurs around this time.

MAY THE SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD REST IN PEACE. AMEN.

Church Heating Adjustment

10 a.m. Mass Monday to Saturday inclusive is being celebrated, in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel in order to reduce church heating costs. You may be already aware of the high cost of this heating due to the recent acute increase in the charges for gas. The church upkeep, including the heating costs, is solely funded from the voluntary family offerings – the standing orders and donations put into the blue box on the table near the church door. The First & Second Sunday Collections, as well as Dues, are Diocesan Collections and not for Parish upkeep. Thank you for your generosity to both these diocesan collections as well as to the Parish Fund.

Outside of weekday Masses, other Masses will be celebrated in the Main Church which will be heated. Webcam is presently available from the Main Church only but it is not as yet accessible from the blessed sacrament chapel.

The heating arrangements are being constantly reviewed subject to current heating costs. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Christmas dues envelopes are available from the tables near the church doors.  To date, € 6,205 has been contributed. Thank you.

Car Park Repairs- much-needed Surface repairs in the church car park were carried out in December by Stanley Asphalt ltd. at a cost of €4,483.25. Thank you for your generous support.
