Funeral Ministry Team Every parish is encouraged to have a funeral ministry team consisting of religious and lay, men and women, trained in providing support at a time of loss, to organise a Christian funeral that the Church offers the bereaved. They will also bring the Scripture Readings and sample intercessions for the Prayer of the Faithful which will be used during the funeral ceremony.
