Building Hope Parish Gathering 7.00 p.m. Tues 7th June

Archbishop Farrell has established a Task Force called “Building Hope” and has launched a process of review and renewal for parishes through this Easter Season.

The Archbishop intends to involve, like the Synodal path earlier this year all parishioners and others who are interested, in conversations about how renewal may be initiated in the parishes

There is a general parish meeting at 7.00 p.m. on Tuesday 7th June. All are welcome. Sharing your thoughts and experiences will be invaluable as the Archdiocese seeks to act now so as to give effective witness and service in the years ahead.

There is also a special prayer.

You will be kept informed about “Building Hope “.

More information at the link Building Hope at www.dublindioceseie

The week of prayer for Building Hope began last Sunday, 29  May, (Ascension Sunday ) and ends on Monday 6 June (Mary the Mother of the Church) There are special prayers to be included with the prayers of the faithful each day during the week.

Building Hope Prayer

Pilgrim God, we give you thanks and praise. You constantly journey with us even in our darkness and doubts. We seek your way of loving-kindness to walk together as one family. Open our eyes to recognise you in the faces of one another, in the breaking of bread, and in the splendour of creation. May the risen Christ sow seeds of hope and new life deep within us. May our hearts and minds be filled with your Word, bringing forth truth, justice and peace. May the Holy Spirit working in and through us do much more than we can dare to imagine as we live out our baptismal calling in humble and loving service. We make this our prayer through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us.

St Laurence O’Toole, pray for us.
