Parish Mission Statement

Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

Christ is risen! We are risen!

The resurrection of the Lord dominates Eastertide. Today’s liturgy provides an example of the power of the resurrection. Peter’s threefold confession of faith reverses his threefold denial of Jesus during the passion. Jesus’ forgiveness of his disciple is intended to assure his disciples of his forgiveness.

Preparing for the Synod- What might the Holy Spirit be indicating in this? Meeting was a hopeful and positive experience even with the significant volume of challenges shared. Nevertheless, the hope that the whole church is open to hearing the voice of its global parishioners builds a sense of renewal and opportunity. We need to trust that what our pre-synod gathering has produced is a humble listening to the Holy Spirit and that the church hierarchy along with its “on the ground faithful” can build Christ’s church for the

World of today.   - Animators ( Synod Feedback )
