Evening Prayer of the Church for Advent - Wednesday 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd December will have Evening Prayer of the Church at 7 pm, with a short period of Adoration, concluding at 7.30 pm with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.  You are invited to join this Service in the Church or via webcam.

St. Vincent De Paul: The weekend of 11/12 December 2021 the second collection is for St. Vincent De Paul instead of the usual share collection.

Masks face coverings must be worn during Mass/services.  Please maintain social distancing.

Confession: Pope Francis advised the faithful to sincerely pray the Act of Contrition with an admission of sorrow for one’s personal sins and an intention of confessing them in the Sacrament of Penance when an opportunity safely arises.

Making Our Christmas Greener: The Parish Environmental Group has prepared a list of practical suggestions to help you have a more environmentally friendly Christmas.  They are on a purple sheet, copies available for free at the various entrances to the Church.  Do pick up one, bring it home, and pin it up as a reminder.  Another reminder: the monthly litter pick-up will take place as usual on the first Saturday of December at 10.30 am starting from the Resource Centre.  It lasts about 40-50 minutes, more volunteers are welcome.

Christmas Masses 2021

Due to the  Covid -19 social distancing restriction still applying, capacity in the church remains limited. It has been decided, with this in mind, that tickets be required for attendance at the Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas  Day.

Tickets for the Christmas Masses will be available at the church after each vigil/ Sunday Mass on the weekend of Saturday/ Sunday 11/ 12 December.

Tickets will not be available from the parish office in the Parish Resource Centre at any time.

It is a pity that we are not in a position to accommodate more people at the Christmas Eve/ Day Masses.

If a lockdown of the Church around Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is made obligatory by the Authorities, the Christmas Eve/ Day Masses at the times on the accompanying Christmas card will be available on the webcam only.

The webcam may be accessed at the website www.holyfamilyparish.ie

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
