SPECIAL COLLECTION
There is a Special Collection under the auspices of Trocaire for the alleviation of the drought and famine-stricken people of East Africa. This replaces the usual share collection (red bucket) envelopes with red lettering.
VINCENT DE PAUL MONTHLY COLLECTION
The Vincent De Paul monthly collection this month is transferred to 12/13 November 2021.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL
The PPC will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday 10 November in the Resource Centre Hall.
A WORD OF GRATITUDE TO CONTRIBUTORS
A word of gratitude to contributors: to Common Fund, Share, and V.F.O. There are two “Tap and Go” machines in the Church. Contributions through them are divided as follows: 60% to Common Fund and 40% to Share only. For example, when €10 is put in by debit/credit card, €6 goes to the Common Fund (Priests of the Diocese) and €4 to Share. These monies go directly to their diocesan accounts and have no provision for any other contribution (V.F.O. and Special Collections).
ARCHBISHOP MEETING WITH PRIESTS OF THE DIOCESES
The Archbishop will meet with the priests and deacons in the Bray, Donnybrook, Dun Laoghaire, and Wicklow deaneries on Monday 8 November.
THE SOLEMNITY OF ST. LAURENCE O’TOOLE
The Solemnity of St. Laurence O’Toole the patron of the Dublin Diocese will be celebrated on Sunday next 14 November instead of the 33 Sunday of Ordinary Time.
