LETTER FROM ARCHBISHOP MARTIN TO PARISHES FAMILY SACRAMENTS IN 2021
I have been receiving requests from various parishes concerning First Holy Communion and Confirmation ceremonies for the coming year. The Sacraments Implementation Group (SIG) has been examining the question after holding focus group consultation among parents, school principals, and priests. They have also been discussed at Deanery Meetings.
Donal Harrington who had chaired the SIG since it beginnings have now retired. I wish to thank him for his patient and detailed work. Deacon Dermot McCarthy has accepted to chair the group for the coming few months.
