NEWSLETTER NOTICES (Revised 20 October 2020)

  1. Now that Level 5 restrictions have been extended by the Government until 1st December 2020 (at least), religious services with public presence/attendance will continue to be suspended throughout the territory of the Irish State.  It is in all our best interests and healthcare to adhere o these restrictions strictly.

 

  1. Mass will continue to be broadcast/screened on webcam at the times listed:

Saturday: 10.00 a.m. Sunday vigil 4.30 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Sunday: 9.00 a.m., 10.30 a.m., 12.00 noon

Weekdays: Monday to Friday at 10.00 a.m.

Parish webcam is accessed at www.holyfamilyparish.ie

 

  1. The section of the Church between the front door and the Stations of the Cross-Screen remains open for personal/private prayer from 10.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive unless there is a funeral.
  2. Funerals will be at 11.00 a.m. with a maximum attendance of 25 persons in the Church.  People attending the car park are requested to keep their social distance of 2m apart.
  3. The Parish Office (in the Resource Centre) is open between 10.30 a.m. – 11.30 a.m. Monday to Friday (inclusive).  Callers can be attended to one at a time.  Please wear a mask 11.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. – phone calls are answered during this time.
  4. If the matter is really urgent, please phone the Sacristy at (01)2802142.  Otherwise, the office may be contacted at admin@holyfamilyparish.ie or (01)2845299.
  5. Confirmation and the other sacraments of First Penance and First Holy Communion as well as the “Ceremony of Light”, are postponed until when the present restrictions shall be lifted, or, at least, eased to an extent that these may be given.
  6. Altar List of the Dead and Special Collection(s) – Envelopes are available near the Church door and at the Parish Office.  You might like to write a list of names, you wish to include on the Altar List for the coming year and place it in the envelope with an offering and hand it in to the office.
