Re: REOPENING OF CHURCH FROM 29th JUNE 2020

Dear Parishioners,

The target date for reopening the Church is from Monday 29th June 2020.  It is hoped to resume Sunday Masses on 4th / 5th July 2020.

Sunday and Weekday Mass Times

Saturday: Vigil Masses are 4.30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Sunday: 9 am, 10.30 am and 12 noon

Weekday Masses: 10 am only Monday to Saturday inclusive.

There is strict instruction from the public health authority to apply the health and safety measures including social distancing in the seating, standing, and walking arrangements in the Church.

There is, therefore, a need to satisfy the requirements for reopening the Church from 29th June and afterward.

Social distancing must be kept as well the Church furniture and interior being cleaned between and after Mass and showing people where to sit.

Your help to assist your parish as one of the following would be welcome.

       Steward / Usher

       Cleaner

You are welcome to select any one or both of these activities for the following:

       Saturday

Before, between and after the 4.30 pm and 6 pm Mass

       Sunday

Before between and after the 9 am, 10.30 am and 12 noon Masses

A meeting of parishioners in parish ministry will be held at 7 pm in the Church on Monday 22nd June 2020. You are welcome to attend.

Your patience and tolerance is appreciated in this crisis and I realise that this request is very demanding but your courage and fortitude in helping the reopening of the Church will bring its own reward.

Thanks to you all.

Yours sincerely,
