Parish Mission Statement

Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

THE CHILDREN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

Service will take place on Friday 6th March 2020 at 11 a.m. in The Church of Ireland, Kill o the Grange (beside Supervalu).  All are welcome.  We need adults to pray and possibly clap!

 

Medjugorje Pilgrimage

On Wednesdays 4th March, 11th March, 18th March, 25th March, 1st April and 8th April 2020, there will be a Prayer Service at 7 pm with Evening Prayer of the Church, Adoration concluding with Benediction at 7.30 pm.  There will be no distribution of Holy Communion at the Prayer Service. All Welcome.

 

WHAT COULD I DO FOR  L E N T?

 

LISTEN to the Word of the Lord, and LEARN how

to LIVE in deeper LOVE with God and with others.

LOOK at Jesus on the cross and LISTEN to him.

 

EXAMINE my conscience. 

Reflect on what I do, what I fail to do and what could I do better?

Prepare for a humble confession to receive God’s forgiveness and peace.

 

“NOW NOW”, “Come back to me with all your

heart” …

Be reconciled to God … NOW is the favourable time. This is the day of Salvation. (Readings for Ash Wednesday)

TRÓCAIRE means Mercy.  Support TRÓCAIRE’S projects for people in need. Fast and abstain.  Give alms and share.
