Parish Mission Statement

Our Parish seeks to live as a family – supporting one another, open to all comers, building a community where each person feels wanted and cared for. To make this happen, we will work to grow in holiness through prayer and service and we will try to show God’s love in our daily lives.

BT and The Irish Cancer Society

Matt Forde will collect household items, bric-a-brac, good quality clothes, unwanted presents etc. for sale in Irish Cancer Society Shops in October.  Last year BT raised €186,000.00.  Bags are available THIS WEEKEND.  Please return them before 12 noon.

WELCOME THE WORD – LECTIO DIVINA
Lectio Divina begins

  • By reading a passage from the gospels
  • Then reflecting on it quietly
  • Next sharing thoughts on what was said or happened years ago
  • Finally, praying for the grace to respond to what the Lord is saying to us now, personally and collectively.
  • Come, on Friday after 10 am Mass for about half an hour (unless there is a funeral)

REST IN PEACE

Your prayers are requested for the souls of those

recently deceased

Canon Maurice O’Moore, P.E. Monkstown (R.I.P.)

Dag Henricksen (R.I.P.)

and also, for the souls of those whose anniversaries occur about this time:

Tony O’Grady, Kathleen (Chick) McGowan and Jimmy Keating.

MAY THEIR SOULS AND THE SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD REST IN PEACE.  AMEN.
