300 Club - Notice
Due to falling numbers of participants, we regret to advise parishioners that it has been found necessary to decide to suspend the continued operation of the 300 Club with effect from the 28th July 2019 until further notice.
We would like to sincerely thank all those who have
so generously and loyally supported the draw and kept it going over the years.

Consumerism can kill.
“The warming caused by huge consumption on the part of some rich countries has repercussions in the poorest areas of the world, especially Africa, where a rise in temperature, together with drought, has proved devastating for farming”, warned Pope Francis already four years ago in his encyclical on the environment. We cannot deny that Ireland is among the richest countries in the world. Or deny any longer that buying into a consumerist mentality has consequences for others thousands of miles away. How we spend, and what we spend it on, are serious moral issues, on which we will be judged now and in the hereafter.
The next meeting of the Parish Environment Group. Is on Wednesday 14th August at 7.30 in the Sacristy. All are welcome
