The collection for the ST VINCENT DE PAUL last weekend amounted to €2,390.

- BAGS will be available at the doors on
Sat / Sun 18th / 19th - The society will collect bags outside the Church on Sat / Sun 25th /26th

Third Sunday of Easter
From the Parish Environment Group: To hope is to plant seeds
Sometimes we can be overwhelmed by all the evils of the world, not least by what’s happening to our environment. But for Christians despair is a sin.
And at the core of our faith is the resurrection of Christ, the ground of our hope.
So we hope always, and this inspires us never to give up in doing what we can to make the world a better place.
Let us Christians be the ones who keep going, who plant seeds even if we may not live to see them flower.
EDEL QUINN – Legion of Mary
You are invited to a Mass in St Patrick’s Church Monkstown on Monday 13th May @ 7.30 pm to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the death of Edel Quinn in May 1944.
Edel was a Legion of Mary Envoy.
She died in Kenya and is buried in Nairobi.

BARNARDO’S is seeking volunteers for their Dalkey Shop (1 Blue Court, Convent Road, Dalkey) to cover the following shifts: mornings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and afternoons on Saturdays. Volunteers will receive full training, support and supervision. When you work in a Barnardo’s Shop you are making an important contribution to the work we do with vulnerable children across the country, as the money raised in our shops helps fund our services.
