MONTHLY FAMILY MASS on Sunday 31st March @ 12 noon.  All families are invited especially those preparing for First Holy Communion and Confirmation   TROCAIRE LENTEN CAMPAIGH Take the Trócaire envelopes and discover how you and your family can help people like Maria and her family in Guatemala, Patricia and her family in Uganda, and Maya and her family in Lebanon. Please SUPPORT the Trócaire Campaign with your PRAYERS and your DONATION   Faith into action For two years now the Parish Environmental Group has been picking up litter in the Church grounds and in adjacent areas. The next litter clean-up will be next Saturday, 6 April, at 10.30am meeting at the Resource Centre. All welcome. Though a practical step, by itself it cannot get to the root of the problem.  The proliferation of plastic waste, for example, has to be tackled at source.  The Pope calls us to “bring healthy pressure to bear on those who wield political, economic and social power” (Laudato Si, par. 206). So we have written to the relevant committee of Dunlaoghaire Rathdown Co. Council asking it to support the imposition of a refundable levy on all single use drinks containers. Without steps such as this, plastic pollution and littering of drinks containers (metal, plastic and paper) will get inexorably worse.  Supporting this measure is one way for parishioners to “bring healthy pressure to bear”, as the Pope wants.   REST IN PEACE Your prayers are requested for the soul of Annie Mulcahy whose anniversary occurs about this time:  MAY HER SOUL AND THE SOULS OF ALL THE FAITHFUL DEPARTED THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD REST IN PEACE.  AMEN.
