A thank you message to all at Holy Family Parish from Con Regan
My immense gratitude to you all for organising & delivering a wonderful send off for Uncle Harry.
He would have been so proud of the high regard he was held by all for his deep faith, long service to God and his communities together with his calm personality.
As Harry said, ‘I have always looked forward to eternal life and eternal beauty.’ I am confident he is enjoying both at this very moment … no doubt walking with his hands behind his back & wearing his favourite sandals!!
Attached my last picture of Harry and Con (nephew) taken at Sybil Hill 21 Apr-24.
Creation Laudato Si
After a historic Jubilee of Hope and the inspiring Raising Hope Conference, the Laudato Si Movement enters 2026 ready to turn deepened hope into bold, collective action. This new year invites our global community to keep building a Church awake to the cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor-rooted in prayer, shaped by encounter, and committed to ecological conversion.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) monthly collections will take place after all Masses on the weekend of January 24th and 25th, 2026.
Thank You
Thanks to all who contributed donations for the flowers to decorate the church at Christmas (MM)

The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 18-25 January- See copies of the Archbishop’s letter on the tables near the church doors. It is a week of prayer for the gift of unity among Christians.
The theme chosen, “One Body, One Spirit, is inspired by St Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling” (Ephesians 4:4)
“The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is a privileged moment of prayer, encounter and dialogue. It is an opportunity to recognise and receive the richness and value that are present in the other, the different, and to ask God for the gift of unity.” From Archbishop Farrell’s letter of 5th January 2026.
