Church Car Park “New” Electronic Barrier. Please be advised the installation of an electronic barrier at the church car park entrance will not impact on parishioners coming and going during church services, groups and parish resource centre activities, as it will be in the open position for the duration of same. With all day and casual parking now unavailable at Bakers Corner, the installation of the electronic barrier is to prevent unwanted parking within the church grounds on health and safety issues together with risk management and legal liability issues. Outside of the times for church services, and parish group activities, the car park is liable to be locked up to prevent entry for unauthorised parking of vehicles which is prohibited.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who have prepared and cleaned the church for Christmas, including those who recently gave up their free time cleaning up the moss around the church. Thank you.
The Parish Clergy and the Parish Staff wish you all a very happy blessed and peaceful Christmas and a good New Year.
THE ENVIRONMENT DURING ADVENT
When we speak of a pilgrimage, we often picture a distant sanctuary. Yet in this Advent pilgrimage, the journey is in the heart. It is not about physical travel, but about internal transformation. It is not about adding new things to do, but instead an invitation to live every ordinary Advent moment as a step of ecological conversation.
