Tax on donation scheme- The generosity that people show towards their priests is very reassuring. Your contributions can go further without any additional cost to you thanks to the tax relief available on charitable donations. With your help the parish can claim a tax refund from Revenue up to the value of 45% of your identifiable contributions amounting to €250 or more in any given year. Please use the envelope provided, giving your details so that the parish can contact you, to help process the tax rebate from Revenue. The parish can reclaim the tax no matter whether you are PAYE or Self-Assessed. This tax rebate from Revenue is now an important source of income for the parish.

Laudato Si Quotes on the Environment

Once the human being declares independence from reality and behaves with absolute dominion, the very foundations of our life begins to crumble, for ‘instead of carrying out his role as a co-operator with God in the work of creation man sets himself up in place of God and thus ends up provoking a rebellion on the part of nature’.

 “(Laudato Si, 117)”

Fire Protection System – Appeal for Funds

The Diocese has notified the parish that its current  Fire Protection System does not meet all the health and safety requirements. As a result, a new system must be installed at a cost of just over €50,000. Additionally, the company will charge an annual service charge of approximately €2,700 for maintenance. Currently, the parish does not have enough funds to cover this significant expense.

In addition to this there is a quotation of €13,000  approx. for church roof repair from the roofers Skyline Ltd. Therefore, any contributions to help the parish meet this necessary cost would be appreciated as is

your generosity.
