Parish Partnership Name

More than 20 names were submitted from the 5 parishes with a good deal of thought.

It was agreed that the partnership name should have a geographical theme-The Deansgrange Partnership was decided upon. Deansgrange equidistant from all 5 parishes, is a well-known neighbourhood to all parishioners, is identifiable by name throughout the diocese and not least many parishioners from all 5 parishes are laid to rest in the cemetery there. The point was made that so many of the people buried there had probably funded the building of all our churches.

It was agreed that we will consider adding to the name “Under the patronage of- a patron saint- at our next meeting. Paul (Foxrock) will advise the Diocese of the name of the Partnership.”

(Meeting of Partnership on 13 Jan 2026 at Holy Family Kill We would be grateful to anyone who would donate a plant anytime to the environmental shrine. Thank you in advance.
