A special word of thanks goes to those who initiated and organised the draw, and to everyone who worked tirelessly to promote it. To those who contributed so kindly, your support ensures our church remains a beautiful place of worship for all. Finally, a huge congratulations to all our lucky prize winners!

Pope Leo XIV's message for January 2026 - For 2026Pope Leo XIV's message to the Catholic Church focuses on achieving an "unarmed and disarming peace", urging a move away from war, rearmament, and fear towards disarmament, dialogue, and spiritual conversion, inspired by Jesus's example of unarmed struggle, to build a lasting peace through humility, justice, and interreligious encounter. He calls for Christians to be witnesses to this peace, cultivating prayer, spirituality, and dialogue against the temptation to weaponise even thoughts, promoting a peace rooted in Christ's resurrection and unconditional love.

Pope Leo XIV's Message on the Environment: The Pope's message on the environment for 2026 emphasises the need for urgent, concrete action to address the climate crisis, framing it as a moral imperative and a matter of justice

Church Car Park “New” Electronic Barrier. Please be advised that the installation of an electronic barrier at the church car park entrance will not impact parishioners coming and going during church services, groups and parish resource centre activities, as it will be in the open position for the duration of the same. With all-day and casual parking now unavailable at Bakers Corner, the installation of the electronic barrier is to prevent unwanted parking within the church grounds on health and safety issues, together with risk management and legal liability issues. Outside of the times for church services, and parish group activities, the car park is liable to be locked up to prevent entry for unauthorised parking of vehicles which is prohibited.

The total amount raised in the annual collection for St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) amounted to €7029
