THE ENVIRONMENT DURING ADVENT: Advent is a call to keep our hearts awake to wait with joy for the coming of the Lord, who is already present in our history. Today, this waiting also incites us to open our eyes to the social and environmental crisis affecting our common home. The cry of the earth and the cry of the poor call us to conversion.
