Carlo Acutis was born in London on 3 May 1991.  He died on 12 October 2006. His Italian parents moved to Milan in September 1991. Carlo was an amateur computer programmer.  He documented Eucharistic miracles from around the world and catalogued them on a website. He received his First Communion on 19 June 1998.  He was confirmed on 25 May 2003. He loved to pray before the tabernacle, before and after Mass. He made a weekly confession, and he prayed the rosary every day. Carlo was very generous to the poor, like St. Francis of Assisi.  He loved his pets and enjoyed skiing, swimming and soccer. Carlo died rather suddenly from leukaemia on 12 October 2006 at the age of 15 years.
